How It works?
1. Book Direct
To submit a claim, you must have already booked directly on our site or via phone. You’ll need the confirmation number from your Resort Rio reservation.
2. Confirm Your Details
The lower rate must be at least 1% lower (including any Booking/service fee), publicly viewable and bookable when your claim is processed, and must be for the same hotel, terms including cancellation policies, dates, room type, and number of guests as your original booking.
3. Submit Claim within 24 Hours
We will only match the lower rate if you’ve filed your claim within 24 hours of the original booking and more than 48 hours before your scheduled check-in time.
What is the Best Rate Guarantee?
If you book directly on our website or through our reservations department and then find a lower, publicly available rate elsewhere, we’ll match the lower rate.
1. Does the Best Rate Guarantee only apply to particular rates?
Rio Best Price Guarantee applies only to reservations made on our website or our reservation number(calling to the hotel ) for Resort Rio hotels in Goa.
The rates available under these terms and conditions cannot be combined with any other special or promotional offers or discounts. For the avoidance of doubt, special rates available only to members, loyalty programs, logged in Discount, membership clubs of any online travel agency or any other organization, private rates, rates involving a prepaid voucher program, rates that require a coupon or promo code, rates for hotel rooms sold as a part of a travel package, corporate discount rates, group rates (5+ rooms), meeting rates, and any other rates not intended for the general public do not qualify.
2. How do I submit a Best Rate Guarantee claim?
A Best Rate claim must be submitted within 24 hours after making a reservation at Resort Rio through our Website or with our in-house reservations department and at least 48 hours before the standard check-in time at the applicable hotel. Click here to submit the claim.
3. What qualifies as valid proof of a lower Competing Rate?
A claim form and a screenshot of the competing rate as it appears on the online website is required to claim the Best rate guarantee. The claim won’t be deemed genuine without the screen shot. Resort Rio has complete authority and discretion to determine the authenticity of any claim. In the event that Resort Rio is unable to independently confirm the existence of a Competing Rate at the time the claim is processed, Resort Rio has the right to reject a Best Rate Guarantee claim.
4. Can I submit a Best Rate Guarantee claim without making a reservation?
To file a Best Rate Guarantee Claim, you must have a valid reservation at Resort Rio that was booked through our website or our reservation department. In the case of Resort Rio, the Best Price Guarantee only applies to bookings made at the same rate for the same occupancy, inclusions, room type, and dates as are currently offered on the Resort Rio website.
5. When will I get a credit for the Best Rate Guarantee rate difference if my reservation is pre-paid and I submit a legitimate Best Rate Guarantee claim against it?
If your reservation at Resort Rio was made using a fully prepaid rate, we will, if appropriate, refund the difference to your original method of payment within 30 business days of receiving your claim. You won’t qualify for a Best Rate Guarantee award if you make a pre-paid reservation through a third party.
6.What happens if there is a technical problem with Best Rate Guarantee claims?
The Best Rate Guarantee will be suspended if the Resort Rio’s Website or specific rates are unavailable due to an outage, a technical problem, or a circumstance beyond Resort Rio’s reasonable control.
7.What if I find a lower price for my Resort Rio reservation on a travel website a week after I book it? Will I be covered by the Best Rate Guarantee?
No, our offer is only valid for claim forms submitted within 24 hours of the initial reservation and at least 48 hours before arrival.
8. What if I don’t receive a response after I submit my Best Rate Guarantee claim?

9. I reserved a three-night stay on a travel website. Will I be able to take advantage of the Best Rate Guarantee?
No, the Best Rate Guarantee applies only to reservations made on the Resort Rio website or through our reservations department.
10. Can I use the Best Rate Guarantee if I discover a lower price for a room that is only marginally different from the one for which I made my reservation?
No, the Best Rate Guarantee is only valid for rates that are competitive for the same hotel, room type, rate type, inclusion, number of guests, dates, and length of stay.
11. Does the Best Rate Guarantee cover taxes, service fees, and other extra costs?
Taxes, gratuities, and any other charges or fees that may apply to your stay are not included in the Best Rate Guarantee.
12. I used the Resort Rio website to pay for my reservation in rupees. But after some investigation, I discovered an online travel agency that offered somewhat cheaper rates for reservations booked in dollars.
We reserve the right to reject the claim if the rate mismatch is primarily the result of currency exchange computations.
13. I want to know if there is a potential that my claim could be rejected if I submit one.
Any claim that does not meet our terms and conditions and in which the rate difference is less than one percent (1%)may be denied.
14. How and where can I submit a claim if I need to?
A claim can only be submitted via the Resort Rio website’s online Best Rate Guarantee Claim Form ( Click here ). Fill out the required fields, check the box to agree to the Terms and Conditions, and click the submit button to have your claim verified within 7 working days.
15. Who has the authority to decide whether or not a claim is valid?
We reserve the right to determine the validity of any claim and whether it complies with the Terms & Conditions at our sole discretion.
16. Who has the authority to change, amend, or supplement the Best Rate Guarantee?
The hotel reserves the right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, to revise, amend, supplement, suspend, or discontinue the Best Rate Guarantee at any time.
17. I can get a better rate for my reservation if I book through my company (which has a long-standing relationship with the Resort Rio). Will I be able to take advantage of the Best Rate Guarantee?
The Best Rate Guarantee only applies to bookings made on Resort Rio website or through Resort Rio reservations and does not include corporate discounts; therefore, you will be ineligible.

If you book a room on our website or through our calling number (0832 226 7300 / 0832 6658700) (the “Reservation Number”) and, within 24 hours of completing such booking, find a Public Internet Rate (as defined below) that is 1% or more lower than the room rate (including any taxes or tariffs) or other guest fees or charges which may be imposed by the hotel, “Room Rate”) at which you booked, then, subject to these terms and conditions, We will, upon validation of your claim, match the Public Internet Rate (the “Rio Best Price Guarantee”). For purposes of these terms and conditions “Public Internet Rate” means a Room Rate plus or including any booking or service fee that is Viewable and Bookable (each as defined below) on another website for the same hotel, same terms including cancellation policies, same room type, same number of guests, same currency and for the same date as the hotel, room type, number of guests, currency and date you booked.
To be eligible to receive the Rio Best Price Guarantee:
(1) you must have a Resort Rio reservation confirmation number;
(2) you must complete and submit the online claim form no later than 24 hours of the original booking and more than 48 hours before your scheduled check-in time.
(3) Resort Rio Reservation agents must be able to verify, to their satisfaction, that a or the Public Internet Rate in question exists at the time of claim processing, and the claim otherwise meets, and has been completed and submitted in accordance with, all terms and conditions of this program.
For clarity, and without limiting any of these terms and conditions, if your original reservation was made within 48 hours of the hotel’s check-in time, you will not be eligible to receive a Rio Best price guarantee under these terms and conditions.
Only one claim can be submitted per person, per email address per calendar month; any claims submitted in excess of this limit will be deemed void and not considered. All reservations must be for personal use only and booked by the guest who will actually be staying at the hotel. Reservations booked by brokers or agents will not qualify. Rio Best price guarantee and any other discounted rates which may be issued under this program are not transferable.
Resort Rio reserves the right to reject any claim and/or to cancel any discounted rate previously issued by it in the event of fraud or abuse of this program or non-compliance with these terms and conditions.
For a multiple night stay, the total Room Rate for the stay will be evaluated in determining whether the Public Internet Rate has a lower Room Rate.
The standard claims processing time is 7 Business Days. Claims submitted outside of normal business hours will be processed on the next day. Normal business hours are 9:00am – 6:00pm IST.

The decision of Resort Rio in respect of any claim shall be final and binding.
This Best Price Guarantee shall be void where prohibited by law. Resort Rio reserves the right to modify, alter, suspend or terminate this program at any time without prior notice at its sole discretion.
